Cosmetic Charm: Sunday Samples - Lulu Time Bomb Flashback ...

This weeks Sunday Sample is the Lulu Time Bomb night cream I received in the Carmine beauty box. I've recently ran out of night cream so this came in handy. It is a 15ml sample, I personally think that is more than enough to see whether it will be suitable for you or not.

It has quite a herbal, lavender scent. It is quite noticeable, but I didn't find it too off putting. The cream had a nice texture, it was easy to massage into the skin and it left it feeling velvety soft. I've used a fair amount of night creams over the years and they pretty much all leave a layer on the skin. This doesn't and I really liked that. I can't comment on the anti-aging properties, but it did make my skin feel pretty nice and my skin did look good in the morning.

When it comes to anti-ageing I am deffo a big believer in prevention rather than cure, I have no real desire to pump my face full of toxin to get rid of my lines (I'm not ruling it out though cos who knows how I'll feel in my late 30's/40's?! I'll probably be down the plastic surgeons office lol!), so I do think it is important to take care of skin from a young age by wearing SPF and a good moisturiser. Having said that I don't think I would buy the full size as it is aimed at older ladies than myself, I am in my late 20's and I thankfully don't need something like this just now. For now I will stick with just a regular cheaper night cream, but once I do start to show signs of ageing or in a few years I would consider trying this again.

You can buy the full size for £30.75 on QVC where it has got rave reviews.

Bye xxx
