Trying to figure out the best over the counter night cream can be confusing. After having done extensive research I’ve come up with 5 tips to help you compare night creams so you can select the best over the counter night cream for yourself.
I looked at many products and found out what the bad products had in common along with products that got results for their users. If you follow these tips you’ll be on your way to selecting the best over the counter night cream.
Tip #1 – When you compare night creams you need to examine closely the list of ingredients – Many people just take a friends word, a glossy magazine, ad or a TV infomercial about a product only to find out it doesn’t work or it makes their condition worse. Every ones skin is different, and may be sensitive to certain chemicals. Never buy any product until you find out what is in it.
Tip #2 – Stay away from harmful chemicals – Harmful chemicals are the main ingredients in many night creams. Stay away from any products that contain the following, alcohol, mineral oil petroleum by product), fragrances, parabens which include methyl, propyl, butyl, and ethyl paraben. Some products made by well know manufactures use triclosan which is classified as a pesticide.
Tip #3 – Products that claim to use, botanicals, natural, or organic ingredients may not be the best – Smart marketers know the buzz words and will use them to get you to buy their products. Natural plant based organic ingredients are best however, they must be in a concentration level that will work. One drop of a natural ingredient doesn’t do much good. You want to see active natural ingredients in concentrations of at least 50%.
Tip #4 – When you compare night creams look for products that contain the latest cutting edge natural ingredients – If you want real results and the best over the counter night cream use products that contain Nano-Lipobelle H EQ10 is a natural ‘nano-emulsion’ form of CoenzymeQ10, natural vitamin E, active manuka honey (which comes from New Zealand), avocado oil, and shea butter.
Tip #5 – The best over the counter night cream come from companies who have signed The Compact for Safe Cosmetics – This is a pledge to not use chemicals that are known or strongly suspected of causing cancer, mutation or birth defects in their products.
