Bliss The Youth As We Know It
I remember eagerly anticipating my Bliss catalogue so many years ago. I would read and reread every page, each product sounding like the answer to all my prayers. I loved all the cool, hard to find product lines and the beautiful looking color items. And when Bliss came out with their own products, I was thrilled – with all those gorgeous New York ladies they serviced, they had to know what would really work!!
I recently tested the youth as we know it anti-aging night cream ($79) that has ’10 age-battling benefits with twice the wrinkle fighting power’ of the daytime version. So what’s in it? Here you go – be prepared to squint if you are anything like me:
Snowy white goodness
This is a very thick, beautiful creamy white moisturizer that doesn’t leave your skin feeling greasy or over moisturized. I didn’t break out from it, not even once, and I used it every night for a month. I especially love to slather this on my neck, it really makes a difference and keeps my skin so smooth and soft to the touch. It also makes a truly terrific hand cream, by the way.
thick and creamy but not skin-stifling
Even though it’s definitely a heavier cream, it has this fabulous texture that soaks right in. It doesn’t have any discernible fragrance, something difficult to find in a night cream. And a little goes a long way, so the price isn’t too steep for how long this will last you.
Bliss the youth as we know it anti-aging night cream certainly impressed me. It worked great on my combination skin, and I think anyone but the very oily would be very happy with this product. If you are planning on getting a little Bliss in your life, this moisturizer would be a blissfully great place to start! – Lisa
