I just don't know where to begin with this post. I guess I'll start by saying what my problems are and what I products I use right now. It should be interesting to see how this evolves as I already have a wish list of sorts of products I want to get after I use some others up.
I have very strange skin. I get stress acne and my skin has wild mood swings, one month it's dry as a bone and the next month they're calling out the National Guard to control the oil slick On. My. Face. Fun times. I'm also in my mid twenties so preventing wrinkles, crows feet etc in my thirties is something I need to keep in the back of my mind and not get reckless with sun exposure or other hazards.

Ponds Cold Cream : This is my Holy Grail makeup remover. It's moisturizing and conditioning so I don't have to worry about drying out my skin. It's also not harsh in any way. I find it best to rub all over my face to loosen up my makeup and use some on a couple of cotton balls for my eyes, then take a warm cloth and wipe it off.

Cetaphil : When my skin is particularly dry I tend to use this because it's gentle and helps with any break outs I may have and it's a gentle daily face wash, so that's a plus.

Garnier Ultra Life Eye Cream : This is really the first and only eye cream I have used and it's very moisturizing and doesn't sting my eyes at all. I use this every night and once it's out I think I will go with a Kiehls eye cream.

Olay Age Defying Classic Night Cream : I bought this on a whim. I wanted something a little stronger then the Neutrogena night cream (which I will get to) and also just to try an Olay product once again. I had another cream a few years ago but I can't remember what it was called and I didn't use it every night either so I couldn't tell you if it worked or not. So far I like this product, I alternate it with the next night cream.

Neutrogena Naturals Nourishing Night Cream : I was really intrigued by this product just because it's all natural. No harsh chemicals and it smells like coconut. Okay I found that out after I got it home but still. I wasn't sure how my skin would react to night creams so I went with this and my skin seems to like it. It's not anti-aging like the Olay and since it's all natural it's not as strong but it gives my skin a little break from the chemicals when I alternate them.

Palmer's Skin Therapy Oil : Okay so I don't use this on my face and really wouldn't recommended that but I cannot begin to tell you how much I love this. I apply this straight out of the shower at night before I dry off and under lotion and in the morning I have the softest skin.

Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Stress Control : This won and award in Allure magazine apparently, which I mean fine, whatever. All I know is that it is very cleansing and works. It doesn't leave my skin too dry but gets rid of excess oil and makes my skin feel clean, like really really clean and fresh like there is nothing dirty or oily on it, almost vulnerably clean. The smell has a eucalyptus type scent which makes me blow my nose after every use. So sinus clearing as well as acne clearing.

NOTE : Not pictured is Dermalogica Active Moist and Skin Prep Scrub which I love and have used up. I bought the sample pack to see what my skin responded to and will repurchase those two later. Also not pictured is sunscreen and my Vitamin E moisturizing oil which I talked about in my March Favorites.

It's a thick, pasty cream that didn't go onto my skin smoothly. Kind of like a slightly dry modeling clay. I had to use the entire sample, about double the amount of face lotion I normally use.

It felt sticky, heavy and gross. I was really tempted to wash it off, but for the sake of this review I kept it on.

The next morning my face still felt a little sticky, like the lotion didn't soak in entirely overnight. It was impossible to tell if my skin felt softer because it felt so greasy.

This was a free sample dropped into my bag at Sephora. I now understand why they were giving it away.

This cream is all natural and made with an antitoxin from the oak tree. Who knew? According to Sephora, "Quercetin and oak is the first natural, clinically proven alternative to retinol."

That makes me really, really wish I liked it. But it is just too icky. (It's also slightly annoying to me that Koores kept the British spelling of "antiageing" in the product name, so it looks perpetually misspelled here in the U.S.)

KEEP OR TOSS: Toss. I can't get past the smell of modeling clay.

This cream is going to improve your skin condition of skin prone to redness and diffuse flushing within 4 weeks. All the products of this series contains Licorice extract which is naturally soothing and highly effective. It also contains green to neutralize the red color. This cream is also fragrance free :D

So I cleansed my face for night and applied the anti-reddness night cream in my checks and a little on my nose. these areas use to pretty red for me, so this is prefect to get a lighter and more even complexion. The cream is thick and oily, but prefect for dry and sensitive skin like red skin often are. It really feels like you moisture your skin at a maximum level.

This cream is both a day and night cream and i called Dermo Purifyer, and contains Lactic Acid, L-Carnitine, Decandiol and Licochalcone A. I have to say I have no idea what these special stuff is, but they are going to remove blackheads and blemishes, naturally moisturize, regulate your skins PH-value,  reduce your skins production of suet, antibacterial and nurse irritation and red skin.

I applied this cream on my forehead, sometimes on my nose and chin, since these are my problem zones. The cream was lighter than the other one and felt pretty refreshing and calming.

This is the result after my first use, and I really hope my skin will be better the coming weeks :D

Made From Earth Olive Night Creme - Confessions of a Psychotic ...

I want my skin to look good, but I also don't want to be slathering chemicals all over my face. I've become a label reader, and there are certain ingredients I try my best to avoid, such as propylene glycol - and boy is that one hard. It seems to be in so many things!

Made From Earth is fast becoming one of my new favorite skincare companies. They make USDA Organic skincare products. Everything is free of harmful chemicals like petrochemicals and phthalates, parabens (Methyl, Propyl, Butyl), Sodium Lauryl/Laureth Sulfate, Diazolidinyl Urea, Mineral Oil, and Cosmetic Fragrance. Instead they use natural and organic ingredients to create a healthier for you - and the planet - product.

I was lucky enough to get to try the Made From Earth Olive Night Creme. This moisturizing night cream is made with organic olives and olive butter for mature and dry skin. My face is still incredibly dry, especially on my forehead. If I don't use moisturizes several times daily, the skin starts to flake off and I look horrid. It's not that I am overly vain, but I don't want to look awful, especially for my husband. Olive oil is a rich source of antioxidants, so when it's applied to the skin it has been scientifically proven to that protect skin against aging. If you're in your early 20's, you don't worry so much about those wrinkles - but trust me, once you crack the 30's, you start paying a lot more attention!

To use the night cream, you simply apply a small amount on your finger from the jar and gently smooth onto your face and neck using upward motions after cleansing your face before bed. I was a little afraid I might smell like I poured olive oil onto my face, but when I opened the jar I was happy that the scent didn't smell like that. It was a pleasant, soothing scent, a little strong if you prefer unscented, but nice to apply. It also absorbed easily into my skin, and didn't feel overly greasy like some night creams do. It didn't upset my sensitive skin, and I never felt itchy using it. It did help moisturize my facial skin so it wasn't quite as flaky. All in all, I was pretty pleased with it.

Call of Beauty: The Body Shop - Vitamin E Nourishing Night Cream

This is my final Body Shop purchase, a night cream. I loved my Garnier one I was using, but been as though this was in the offer, I thought I'd give it a go. However, when it runs out I will go back to my Garnier one as I just preferred it. 

This moisturizer is lovely and thick which is probably why it's called a cream, and feels lovely when you put it on, however after a while it starts to sting a little bit, maybe that's just my skin though? It definitely nourishes my skin, as I still feel it in the morning, but I don't like the stinging and I'm not a massive fan  of the smell. It smells like baby products, and I'm just not a massive fan, which is why I'm going to go back to my Garnier one when it runs out.

Aside from the smell, and slight stinging,  I have no complaints about this product, it does what it says on the tin. So yeah, probably not the most exciting read or the most infomative, but it's a moisturiser, what do you expect?
